Please be advised that this not an instructional camp. It is simply league play and provides the athlete an opportunity to use what they have learned this year in a game-like situation. All our coaches and some of our officiating staff are volunteers. We would not be able to run this program without them.We want to encourage fun and fair play so there will be no scorekeeping in any of the divisional games.
All madatory equipment will be required in order for your son/daughter to play. This includes neck guards and most importantly mouth guards must be used appropriately in a game situation.
Each team will consist at least 6-9 players and a goalie.
- Games are to start on time with a 2 minute warm -up
- Games are played on full ice
- 3 on 3 with respective goalies ( skills division goalies will alternate)
- No scorekeeping
- Each game is 3 -18 minute periods
- Each shift is 1 1/2 minutes in duration
- Both gates open and players enter and exit respective gates on the horn. ( you do not have to wait for all the players to clear the ice before the next goup enters the ice)
- There is no stoppage in play except at the end of the period or a penalty has been called
- Penalties will result in a penalty shot
- There is no icing
- There are no off-sides at any divisonal level.
- After a goal is score players must move to the red line and wait for the opposing team to bring the puck into the neutral zone. Players will be warned once and given a penalty on the second infraction.
